EMC Sdn Bhd facilitates first team building at Manukan Island, Kota Kinabalu!

Checking this off our bucket list! EMC Sdn Bhd had the honor of facilitating Toastmasters Div K’s team-building event on the picturesque Manukan Island in Kota Kinabalu!

While Toastmasters has held team-building events before, this was a special occasion for EMC as it marked our very first time facilitating such an event on Manukan Island. The participants had the chance to engage in a series of challenging activities designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, and personal growth. It was an exciting opportunity for everyone to bond and discover new strengths within themselves and their colleagues.

For the EMC team, this event was not only a chance to contribute to Toastmasters’ growth but also a personal adventure. We traveled from Brunei to Kota Kinabalu, a 5-hour journey, before hopping on a boat to reach the island. It was a test of our stamina, but the thrill of facilitating the event kept our spirits high.

The island’s stunning surroundings added to the energy of the event, creating the perfect backdrop for both professional development and team bonding. It was an unforgettable experience for us all, and we are grateful to have been part of the journey.
